National Alliance, co-ruling before the elections – 11.0 %, 13 seats (5.6 %, 6 seats down from 2014) “The self-sufficiency of the Russian-language community and Russian language, articficially created in Latvia under USSR, is the main obstacle to creating a consolidated society. Therefore, emigration of a part of Russian-speakers is evaluated positively (..) “New Unity”, co-ruling before the elections – 6.7 %, 8 seats (15.2 %, 15 seats down from 2014). The programme is generally silent on minority issues (although it speaks of a “nation-state” in the intro at https://jaunavienotiba.lv/programma/ ), but one can look at their ad with the education minister Mr Kārlis Šadurskis at https://www.facebook.com/JaunaVienotiba.lv/photos/a.176185042451674/2169385429798282/ It reads – “It is not through slogans, but through a statesman’s act that all children in Latvia shall learn in Latvian language”=”Ne ar saukļiem, bet ar valstsvīra rīcību visi bērni Latvijā mācīsies latviešu valodā”.

Latvian Regional Alliance – 4.1 % (2.6 %, 8 seats down from 2014) “We are for the rights of Latvia’s residents to maintain their habitual way of life, Latvian language, culture and traditions”=”Mēs esam par Latvijas iedzīvotāju tiesībām saglabāt ierasto dzīvesveidu, latviešu valodu, kultūru un tradīcijas” https://sv2018.cvk.lv/pub/CandidateLists/CandidateList?id=zS1EAkXSu6dW5712dJXMrA%3D%3D

Mēs piedāvāsim nepilsoņu institūta likvidāciju”

“To Latvia from the Heart” – 0.8 % (6.0 %, 7 seats down from 2014). Silent on minority issues in its programme.
